High street retailers:

HMV would be one of the most renound high street retailers for CD's and Digipaks. They sell all genres ranging from Hip-Hop to classical music; catering for a wide range of people. Despite this in 2012, HMV had to close down 40 stores in a bid to save millions in cost and the main reason for this was online retailers.

Online retailers:

Online retailers such as 'amazon', 'spotify' and 'apple music' offer everything that the ordinary high street retailer like HMV would but at a much easier grasp as people can access their music through their devices like phones and laptops within a matter of minutes and at a much cheaper price. Front covers are often shown on these online retailers as well as institutional information however the digital is rarely included.
